Accessibility statement
EcoPayback is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Last reviewed 29 August 2026.
Conformance target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the European standard EN 301 549. These are the benchmarks referenced by Irish and EU accessibility law, including the Disability Act 2005 and the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
What we do
- Semantic HTML with correct heading structure and landmark regions.
- Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
- Text and interface contrast that meets AA in both light and dark modes.
- Content that reflows to a 320 px viewport without loss of information or horizontal scrolling.
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting. - Descriptive link text and meaningful alternative text for informative images.
- A declared page language so screen readers use the right pronunciation.
