EcoPayback.ie uses Cloudflare Web Analytics (also called Real User Measurements) to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used and how quickly pages load, so that we can improve the content and performance of the site.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first:

• It does not set any cookies and does not store or read any information on your device.
• It does not use fingerprinting and does not track visitors across other websites or over time.
• It collects only aggregate information such as pages viewed, referring website, approximate country, browser and device type, and page-load performance measurements.
• It does not build a profile of you and is not used to identify individual visitors.

This information is processed on our behalf by Cloudflare, Inc. as our data processor. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website.

Because this analytics does not use cookies or similar device storage, it does not require consent under the ePrivacy Regulations, and there is no analytics opt-in or cookie banner on the site.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

EcoPayback.ie does not use analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, and it does not use any technology that requires a cookie-consent banner.

Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, Inc., may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies to operate and protect the website, for example:

• __cf_bm — used to distinguish automated traffic from human visitors (bot management).
• cf_clearance — set only if you complete a security challenge, to record that it was passed.

These cookies are used solely for security and to deliver the service you have requested. They contain no advertising or profiling information, and under the ePrivacy Regulations strictly necessary cookies of this kind do not require consent.

Where a website uses cookies that are not strictly necessary — including most analytics and advertising cookies — the Irish Data Protection Commission requires prior consent, with the ability to withdraw or change it. EcoPayback.ie does not currently use any such cookies. If this changes in future, we will put a compliant consent mechanism in place before those technologies are loaded, and we will update this Privacy Policy.
